It's cleanup season, kids! Doing a neighborhood cleanup has been scientifically proven to clear your skin, water your crops, teach your dog to roll over and help push back against the psychology of decline here in the rust belt. Take a swing against apathy and entropy and show up to one of these nice events -- you'll probably even get a burger or a pint of cider afterward.
Note: Some of the folks I reached out to about their neighborhoods have yet to get back to me. I will update this post whenever I receive new info about cleanup opportunities.

Ed: The Lark Street BID has told me that they will also be doing a cleanup on this day and joining in with the barbecue afterward.
3. Warehouse District Neighborhood Cleanup
From the organizers: Come out to our annual Warehouse District Clean Up On Sunday April 28th! Join us at 929 Broadway at 10 am to help clean up North Albany's Warehouse District! We will meet in front of the tasting room to pick up gear (provided by City of Albany Department of General Services) and break into teams for different areas of the Warehouse District. Clean up will end at 1 pm when volunteers are invited back to the cidery for complimentary cider until 3pm.
Our friends Primal Your Local Butcher will serving up some delicious food for us all from starting at 1pm! At 4pm, Honey Slider will be performing live!
Our community and the health of our local environment is incredibly important to us. In the spirit of Earth Week 2019, Nine Pin Cider is offering complimentary cider vouchers for neighborhood associations and groups who participate in any cleanup activities this April in the Capital Region. Clean up organizers should e-mail emily@ninepincider.com this month if they would like to participate. 20 voucher limit per group.
